Family and wedding party photos are a time of joy and fun. That is why it is good to make sure all your loved ones are photographed. Therefore, a good suggestion is to plan ahead and have a family photo check list ready. Below is an example of a basic family photo outline.

WEDDING PARTY
__ Wedding Party, including Bride, Groom, Best Man, Groomsmen, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids
__ Groom with best man
__ Groom with all groomsmen
__ Bride with maid or matron of honor
__ Bride with all bridesmaids
__ Bride and groom with best man and maid of honor
__ Ring bearer
__ Flower girl

FAMILY
__ Bride with both parents
__ Bride with parents and full siblings
__ Bride with mother alone
__ Bride with father alone
__ Bride with father and all paternal siblings
__ Bride with mother and maternal grandparents
__ Bride with father and paternal grandparents
__ Bride’s family shot, including parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.

GROOM’S FAMILY

10 tips on your wedding day for amazing photos

1) If possible have a copy of the wedding invitation handy.
2) If possible have the bouquet of flowers ready by the time the photographers arrive.
3) If possible have Wedding shoes handy.
4) If possible wait for the photographer before putting on the dress.
5) The bride should be the first one to get the make up done.
6) If possible have the wedding garter handy.
7) If possible have special items that you want photographed handy such as
( a grandmothers quilt, or a special handmade item that has sentimental value).

8) For the groom have a special watch or jewerly ready for the photographer for detail shots.
9) Make sure not to put on the tuxedo until the photographer arrives.
10) Double check the day before that all the groomsmen tuxedos and shoes are the correct size and color.
